CableTrellis : Somerset Trellis™

The Wall Mounted Somerset® Trellis.

This trellis is designed for mounting on vertical surfaces. It's an all inclusive trellis kit that's available in seven standard height packages (from 4 ft to 10 ft; 1 ft increments). It consists of powder coated aluminum angle brackets top and bottom that screw or bolt to the wall face Four 1/8" diameter stainless steel cable assemblies are strung vertically between the brackets and secured with special, easy to use, adjustable Quick-Connect® SS and Threaded Terminal cable fittings. The 1/8" diameter stainless steel rods are then attached to the cables horizontally using special Cross-Clamps with locking set screws.

The rods can be positioned anywhere along the cables, but the spacing that we show and use in our standard package configurations are at one foot increments. Additional rods and clamps can be purchased as accessory items. Multiple trellis kits can be mounted adjacent to one another to make wider wall trellises.

The angle brackets on the Somerset® trellis come in a durable powder coated finish. The cables and rods are manufactured from high grade, type 316 stainless steel for weather-tough strength and durability. Cross-clamps are available in either hard anodized aluminum or stainless steel and come with colored plastic end caps to cover the set screw, Stainless end caps are also available as an optional accessory item.

Each Somerset® Trellis kit includes the following:

• 2 qty 40” long, aluminum angle brackets with durable powder coated finish.
• 4 qty 1/8” diameter stainless steel cable assemblies with adjustable attachment fittings and black plastic end caps.
• 3 to 9 qty 1/8” diameter x 38” long stainless steel rods (quantity depends on trellis height).
• 4 qty cross-clamps per rod, with colored plastic caps (choose either hard anodized aluminum or stainless steel cross-clamps).
• 4 qty retaining washers and large colored plastic caps to cover bracket attachment bolt/screw heads (bolts & screws sold
separately).
• 1 qty 3/16” hex key wrench (for cross-clamp set screws).
• Installation instructions.

Select your frame color option by adding BLK (black), BRZ (bronze), CRM (cream), GRY (gray), GRN (green), SLV (silver), TAU (taupe) or WHT (white) after the part #.

Quick-Connect®SS fittings with special one-way jaws automatically grab and lock on to the cable without any tools. Simply slide them on, pull the cable tight, trim the excess and finish with an end cap.

Cross-Clamps securely hold the rods in position using a locking set screw. Decorative end caps provide a final finished detail. Cross clamps are available in stainless steel or hard anodized aluminum (graphite color).

Threaded Terminal fittings come pre-attached to one end of each cable. Spin on a Snug-Grip™ washer nut, adjust cable tension and then cover with an end cap.

Built-in, tubular offsets provide optimal clearance from the wall face. Mounting bolts (sold separately) insert through the offsets and into the wall. Retaining washers with black caps cover the bolt heads.
